Instagram and Facebook to get paid-for verification
Instagram and Facebook to get paid-for verification is now live for Indian customers
For Indian Instagram and Facebook accounts, Meta began the waitlist for Meta Verified. Users may now verify their Meta accounts with a Blue Tick checkmark in the US for $14.99 a month, Australia, and New Zealand, following Elon Musk-owned Twitter’s lead.
In a post on his Instagram in February 2022, Mark Zuckerberg announced the launch of Meta Verified, saying, “This week we’re starting to roll out Meta Verified, a subscription service that lets you verify your account with a government ID, get a blue badge, get more impersonation protection against accounts claiming to be you, and get direct access to customer support.”
Meta verified has now started a waitlist for India. According to sources, the cost of Meta verified in India is Rs 1,099 per month if you subscribe online. You must pay Rs 1,450 per month to subscribe to Meta Verified for Android and iOS apps.
Benefits of Verified Account
A verified badge is yours if you subscribe to Meta Verified. Additionally, it guarantees account security to thwart any attempts at impersonation. Additionally, subscribers will have access to live customer service representatives rather than a bot.
Influencers will benefit from the subscription as well because, according to Meta, paying the monthly fees will make you more visible and extend your reach. People’s Newsfeeds, search results, and comments will feature your work more frequently.
The queue for the Meta Verified is now open to users. Users should be informed to subscribe to Meta Verified after approval. You only need to have a sparsely used Facebook or Instagram account, be at least 18 years old, and produce a government-issued ID showing your name, age, and identical photo to your account.
